Course Overview
The source course covers the nature of performance management, strategic management accounting, information and technology, organisational influences and a range of performance measures. It also includes divisional measures, not-for-profit performance, transfer pricing, behavioural topics and revision questions. The published teaching videos were compared with the provider’s course chapters, and all 16 referenced teaching-video IDs are present within the 33-entry source list. Every source entry remains available. One specimen-exam item is labelled AAA in the original list; its title is preserved and it should be understood according to its stated paper, rather than treated as an APM syllabus addition.
How to study the course
- Begin with the introductory and core teaching material, connecting each measure with the objective and organisational context it is meant to address.
- Compare the updated and earlier explanations where the source provides both. Identify the common reasoning and any recording-specific assumptions.
- Use the revision sessions after the relevant concepts. Practise a clear explanation and recommendation, while checking the current requirements of your own exam sitting.
Use the searchable classroom lesson list to revisit a specific explanation. Pause after a useful demonstration, reproduce a small example and explain the result in your own words. Keep a short note of what worked, what changed and what you still need to understand before moving on.
Who is this for?
The course suits ACCA APM learners and accounting professionals reviewing advanced performance-management concepts. It is particularly useful when a numerical result needs a stronger explanation of its strategic or behavioural implications.
Before you start
Prior management-accounting knowledge will help. The list includes recordings from different periods and older exam questions, so consult the current syllabus and appropriate practice materials for your sitting. Free viewing does not include exam entry, assessment or an ACCA credential.
Put the lessons into practice
Create a fictional business unit with several performance measures and a strategic objective. Explain whether the measures support that objective and identify one possible unintended behaviour. Compare two alternative measures and describe the information needed to interpret them fairly. Write a short recommendation that uses the evidence without overstating it. Then attempt a suitable revision question from the course, reviewing how clearly you connect the facts, analysis and proposed action.
This optional activity is provided by WikiFree for independent practice. It is not a graded assignment from the instructor. Keep your working notes, check the result against the task you defined and return to the relevant lesson when an assumption or technique is unclear.
Certificate / Assessment
Watching the public videos and using WikiFree progress tracking does not award a certificate, exam voucher, academic credit or instructor assessment. ACCA or CIMA exam entry, current exam eligibility and professional qualification requirements are separate from this video classroom.
Use your practice output to review what you can now explain and repeat independently. Completion tracking records your study progress; it does not replace an assessed qualification or professional experience.
