What you’ll learn
- Describe a simple automation task in terms of the information it receives and the result it should produce.
- Use the beginner tutorial to understand the structure of a Zapier workflow.
- Relate the Tables tutorial to the organisation of information used by an automation.
- Recognise how the MCP lesson connects AI agents with tools while retaining the need to review outcomes.
Skills you’ll gain
- Zapier workflows
- Zapier Tables
- MCP concepts
- Automation planning
- Workflow checking
- Tool integration
Course Overview
The training combines a beginner Zapier tutorial, a dedicated Tables class and an explanation of Zapier MCP for AI agents. Start with the beginner session to understand the purpose of a workflow, then examine how a table can hold information that the workflow uses. The MCP session adds a different interaction model in which an AI system can connect to tools. Keep the task and its expected output clear before adding another service. The course is free to watch; particular Zapier features, connected services or AI tools may require separate access.
How to study the course
- Begin with the introductory tutorial, continue with Tables and finish with the MCP session. This order builds from an ordinary workflow to more demanding connections.
- Keep your first example small and use invented data. Inspect what each service receives and returns before allowing a workflow to act on anything important.
Use the searchable classroom lesson list to revisit a specific explanation. Pause after a useful demonstration, reproduce a small example and explain the result in your own words. Keep a short note of what worked, what changed and what you still need to understand before moving on.
Who is this for?
This course is for office professionals, small teams and technical learners exploring connected automation. It suits beginners who want a practical introduction and users interested in how AI tool connections extend a workflow.
Before you start
No programming background is necessary for the opening tutorial. Practice depends on the features available in your Zapier and connected-service accounts. Paid tools or feature limits are separate from the free video course.
Put the lessons into practice
Describe a fictional request-tracking workflow with a small input form, a table of requests and an output summary. Write down the fields needed and the expected result before building anything. Follow the beginner and Tables lessons to plan or test the workflow with invented records. Then explain how an AI tool connection could assist with one bounded step. Keep external actions disabled while learning and inspect the output manually. Record a failure case and how you would notice and correct it.
This optional activity is provided by WikiFree for independent practice. It is not a graded assignment from the instructor. Keep your working notes, check the result against the task you defined and return to the relevant lesson when an assumption or technique is unclear.
Certificate / Assessment
Watching the public videos and using WikiFree progress tracking does not award a certificate, exam voucher, academic credit or instructor assessment.
Use your practice output to review what you can now explain and repeat independently. Completion tracking records your study progress; it does not replace an assessed qualification or professional experience.
