Course Overview
The course begins with the UK tax system and the income-tax computation, then develops the treatment of different income sources and business adjustments. Later chapters address gains, companies, losses, groups, tax administration, inheritance tax and VAT. All 61 source recordings remain available. Chapter titles and numbered subparts provide the evidence for the classroom order, including parts that were scattered in the source list. The opening lecture identifies the Finance Act 2025 edition for the June 2026–March 2027 exam window. Keep that recorded edition in view rather than treating a calculation as a current tax rule for every situation.
How to study the course
- Follow the introductory recording and Chapters 1–11 to build the individual-tax framework. Keep the definitions and assumptions used in each example visible.
- Work through the gains and company-tax chapters with their numbered parts in order. Check the purpose of an adjustment before applying it.
- Use the later administration, inheritance-tax and VAT chapters to complete the source sequence, then practise questions using materials appropriate to your actual exam sitting.
Use the searchable classroom lesson list to revisit a specific explanation. Pause after a useful demonstration, reproduce a small example and explain the result in your own words. Keep a short note of what worked, what changed and what you still need to understand before moving on.
Who is this for?
This course suits ACCA TX-UK learners and accounting students studying the recorded taxation framework. It is useful when you want a chapter-based teaching route with the examples and explanations retained in one classroom.
Before you start
Basic accounting and arithmetic are helpful. Use the exam edition identified by the recording when following its examples. Tax law and exam requirements change; verify current authoritative materials for your exam or a real tax matter. The course is educational and does not provide personal tax advice.
Put the lessons into practice
Create a fictional study case using the assumptions and figures from one clearly identified course example. Write the computation in stages and explain the purpose of each adjustment. Check your working against the teaching method, then vary one fact and record what needs to be reconsidered. Keep a separate list of questions that require current verification. Finish with a revision plan covering all 24 chapters, noting where you need more practice rather than assuming that watching a lecture establishes exam readiness.
This optional activity is provided by WikiFree for independent practice. It is not a graded assignment from the instructor. Keep your working notes, check the result against the task you defined and return to the relevant lesson when an assumption or technique is unclear.
Certificate / Assessment
Watching the public videos and using WikiFree progress tracking does not award a certificate, exam voucher, academic credit or instructor assessment. ACCA or CIMA exam entry, current exam eligibility and professional qualification requirements are separate from this video classroom.
Use your practice output to review what you can now explain and repeat independently. Completion tracking records your study progress; it does not replace an assessed qualification or professional experience.
