Course Overview

The course begins with a recorded Windows 10 introduction, then adds cybersecurity, Zoom and OneDrive training. Use the desktop lesson as historical interface training: standard Windows 10 support ended in October 2025, and the recording does not describe a current support entitlement. The other sessions address different parts of an office workflow, from recognising risks to participating in online communication and organising cloud files. Current menus, service features and organisational permissions can differ from the recordings. The course’s purpose is a practical foundation in the tasks covered, not a complete IT administration or security qualification.

How to study the course

  • Study the four tutorials as related office tasks and note where an interface differs from your current environment. Use a supported practice setup appropriate to your device.
  • Keep the purpose of each task clear: locate information, communicate effectively and understand how files are stored or shared. Review permissions before using real documents.

Use the searchable classroom lesson list to revisit a specific explanation. Pause after a useful demonstration, reproduce a small example and explain the result in your own words. Keep a short note of what worked, what changed and what you still need to understand before moving on.

Who is this for?

This course is for new office users, students and learners building confidence with everyday computer tasks. It is useful for a practical introduction, with the older operating-system recording clearly identified.

Before you start

No specialist IT background is required. Practice needs a suitable computer and access to the services being studied. The video course supplies no operating-system license, paid service plan or current software support.

Put the lessons into practice

Create a folder structure for a fictional workshop and give a few dummy files meaningful names. Plan a short online meeting, listing the materials and settings you would check before it begins. Review one file-sharing scenario and identify who needs access. Use the cybersecurity lesson to record one risk you should recognise and one habit that helps you inspect a request before acting. Compare the recorded interface with your current environment and note differences without assuming that an older menu is the only way to complete the task.

This optional activity is provided by WikiFree for independent practice. It is not a graded assignment from the instructor. Keep your working notes, check the result against the task you defined and return to the relevant lesson when an assumption or technique is unclear.

Certificate / Assessment

Watching the public videos and using WikiFree progress tracking does not award a certificate, exam voucher, academic credit or instructor assessment.

Use your practice output to review what you can now explain and repeat independently. Completion tracking records your study progress; it does not replace an assessed qualification or professional experience.
