Course Overview
The course progresses from beginner through intermediate, advanced, expert, master and professional-labelled sessions, then provides a long compilation for review. Use the teaching stages to connect the handling of source information with the analysis and presentation of a result. The recordings come from different release dates and include older Power BI interfaces. Study the purpose of a technique and check current software behaviour when adapting it. The course is an independent software-learning resource: it does not include an official Power BI exam, certification or service license.
How to study the course
- Work through the six teaching sessions in their stated progression. Keep the source data and the purpose of the analysis visible as the task becomes more demanding.
- Retain the full-course compilation as a review format. Compare recorded interfaces with current documentation when implementing a feature or publishing a report.
Use the searchable classroom lesson list to revisit a specific explanation. Pause after a useful demonstration, reproduce a small example and explain the result in your own words. Keep a short note of what worked, what changed and what you still need to understand before moving on.
Who is this for?
This course is for analysts and office professionals developing Power BI skills beyond an introductory session. It suits learners prepared to practise with tabular data and review the reasoning behind an analytical output.
Before you start
Basic data or spreadsheet knowledge is useful. Hands-on work needs a compatible Power BI environment. Service licenses, organisation permissions and any paid provider assessment are separate from the free videos.
Put the lessons into practice
Create a small reporting project using invented attendance and session-cost data. State the question, preserve the source and document how the information is prepared. Build a report that answers the question without unnecessary visuals, then check the result manually for a few records. Use a later-course technique to improve one part of the workflow and explain the improvement. Try changing a source value and review how the output responds. Keep a note of version-specific behaviour and the limitations of the data.
This optional activity is provided by WikiFree for independent practice. It is not a graded assignment from the instructor. Keep your working notes, check the result against the task you defined and return to the relevant lesson when an assumption or technique is unclear.
Certificate / Assessment
Watching the public videos and using WikiFree progress tracking does not award a certificate, exam voucher, academic credit or instructor assessment.
Use your practice output to review what you can now explain and repeat independently. Completion tracking records your study progress; it does not replace an assessed qualification or professional experience.
