Agentic Strategy: Free Google AI Design and Prototyping Instruction

Explore Google’s agentic transformation framework, value engineering and user-journey design through free instruction. Product practice and lab access are separate.

WikiFree Agentic Strategy course cover with idea, planning and prototype tiles joined by coral branching paths on a cream board.

An agentic AI project needs a reason to exist before it needs a prototype. Agentic Strategy: Discover, Design, and Prototype starts with that business question: where could an agent improve a process, what would a useful user journey look like and which opportunities deserve attention first?

Google’s Beginner course connects strategy with prototyping through a retail example. Its free instruction introduces a transformation framework, value engineering, prioritization and critical user journeys, followed by demonstrations using Google tools. The later material connects those decisions with a prototype, helping you see how an idea becomes a workflow that can be evaluated.

What you’ll learn

  • Recognize the discover, design, build and scale stages of Google’s Agentic AI Transformation Framework.
  • Compare an existing process with a possible agent-assisted alternative.
  • Understand the course’s use of value engineering and prioritization models.
  • Map a critical user journey around a selected agentic use case.
  • Follow the instructional prototyping approach involving Google AI Studio and Gemini Enterprise.

Skills you’ll gain

  • Agentic opportunity assessment
  • Business-value framing
  • Use-case prioritization
  • Critical user journey design
  • Prototype planning

Start with the process and its value

The early lessons introduce the framework and the relationship between discovery, design, building and scale. The retail section then makes the decision more concrete: evaluate the opportunity, compare prioritization approaches and describe the critical user journey. This structure is useful for connecting a proposed agent to a real task rather than to a fashionable label.

Value engineering is most useful when assumptions remain visible. If a prototype seems impressive, you still need to ask whose problem it addresses and how that person would judge the result. The course introduces ways to organize those questions so that a prototype remains tied to a business need.

Make the user journey testable

As an optional study exercise, choose a fictional retail request, such as finding a product that meets several constraints. Describe the beginning of the request, the decisions along the way and what a satisfactory response would contain. Add one uncertainty that should be passed to a person. Use this independent exercise to make the intended behavior concrete.

Then compare two possible implementations: a narrow assistant that helps with one decision and a broader workflow that coordinates several steps. Note what information each would need and what you would want to test. The exercise keeps the focus on useful behavior, especially when a demonstration makes a prototype appear more complete than its evaluation evidence supports.

Understand what the prototype demonstrates

The later curriculum includes reimagining and prioritizing a process, creating a critical user journey and prototyping with Google. A video called Lab with Google AI Studio is instructional content; the separately listed shopping-agent lab is the practical activity. Use the demonstration to decide which behavior your own prototype should test first.

Free learning and practical access

The instructional videos, quizzes and resources are advertised as free and require a free Google Skills account. The provider-required shopping-agent lab is separate from this instruction-only route. Google AI Studio, Gemini Enterprise and any model or cloud usage have their own product conditions; enterprise access and completion recognition are not included with the free instruction.

Any provider badge depends on its required activities and access conditions. A free badge, professional certification or academic credit is not promised.

Frequently asked questions

Is the emphasis business strategy or agent programming?

The distinctive emphasis is selecting and designing an agentic opportunity: value engineering, prioritization, critical user journeys and a transformation framework. Prototyping demonstrations connect that strategy to tools, but the course is not presented here as an extensive programming curriculum.

Can I study without completing the shopping-agent lab?

The advertised free instructional route includes the lessons and learning material with a free Google Skills account. The shopping-agent lab is separate and is required by the provider for its full-course completion route; watching instruction does not establish that completion.

Are Gemini Enterprise access and a free badge included?

The free access covers instruction. Enterprise product access, hands-on work and recognition have separate conditions; no free subscription, badge, professional certification or academic credit is promised.
