About this course

The syllabus covers definitions, historical foundations, project roles and an overview of the DMAIC roadmap. Manufacturing and service examples appear in the course description, but the provider explicitly distinguishes this introduction from detailed instruction in individual tools.

Skills you’ll gain
- Explaining Lean and Six Sigma
- Understanding quality terminology
- Recognizing improvement-project roles
- Following the DMAIC overview
No prerequisite is listed. Work through the quality and Sigma definitions before the sections on roles and project selection; this helps prevent belt titles and acronyms from becoming facts learned without context.
The provider advertises professional-development credits, but WikiFree has not independently confirmed current eligibility or the claim process. No PDU award or belt certification is promised here. Use the course to decide which improvement skills to study next, rather than as evidence of a professional qualification.
