Course Overview

The source curriculum contains one substantial training session for each application. Pages addresses document work, Numbers provides the spreadsheet component and Keynote supports presentation creation. Study the tutorials around a common purpose so that the differences between a document, a table of information and a slide deck are useful rather than confusing. The recorded interfaces and features may differ from a current release or another device. This is a course in the three applications covered, not a complete guide to every Apple service or operating-system feature.

How to study the course

  • Work through each application as a complete session, pausing to reproduce a small example. Keep a note of the tools available on your device.
  • Use one office scenario across the three tutorials. Check that the document, spreadsheet and presentation contain consistent information and serve different useful purposes.

Use the searchable classroom lesson list to revisit a specific explanation. Pause after a useful demonstration, reproduce a small example and explain the result in your own words. Keep a short note of what worked, what changed and what you still need to understand before moving on.

Who is this for?

This course is for students, professionals and personal learners using iWork for everyday office tasks. It suits newcomers to the applications and users looking for a more connected approach to their materials.

Before you start

Basic computer skills are enough to begin. Hands-on practice depends on access to suitable versions of Pages, Numbers and Keynote. Device compatibility and current features should be checked separately from free video viewing.

Put the lessons into practice

Plan a fictional local workshop. Write a short information document in Pages, organise attendance and costs in Numbers and prepare a brief introductory deck in Keynote. Keep names, dates and values consistent across all three files. Review whether each file provides what its reader needs without unnecessary repetition. Change one detail, such as the date, and check all materials for consistency. Finish with a short note explaining the purpose of each application in the workflow and one feature you would like to practise further.

This optional activity is provided by WikiFree for independent practice. It is not a graded assignment from the instructor. Keep your working notes, check the result against the task you defined and return to the relevant lesson when an assumption or technique is unclear.

Certificate / Assessment

Watching the public videos and using WikiFree progress tracking does not award a certificate, exam voucher, academic credit or instructor assessment.

Use your practice output to review what you can now explain and repeat independently. Completion tracking records your study progress; it does not replace an assessed qualification or professional experience.
